PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that has the high mechanical strength without decreasing a high temperature load lifetime, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electronic component.SOLUTION: The electronic component is configured such that a plurality of internal electrode layers and dielectric layers are alternately laminated. In the electronic component, a particle size of first dielectric particles coming into contact with one end in a laminating direction of the internal electrode layers are greater than that of second dielectric particles coming into contact with the other end in the laminating direction of the internal electrode layers, and a first ceramic layer formed with the first dielectric particles is smaller in a thickness than a second ceramic layer formed with the second dielectric particles. |
