PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce the size of a small-sized generator mounted to a portable telephone and a portable electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: The generator is equipped with: a shaft 31; a rotor holder 32; a nearly cylindrical sleeve 23 which is positioned in a lower part of the ceiling of the rotor holder; a thrust bearing 4 whose position in the axial direction is fixed to the shaft and which contacts with one end face of the sleeve at one side of the axial direction of the sleeve; a retaining part which is attached to the shaft and faces the other end face of the sleeve at the other side of the axial direction of the sleeve;, a rotor magnet 34; and an armature 22. A magnetic center position in the axial direction of the rotor magnet 34 is positioned on one side away from a magnet center position in the axial direction of the armature 22, an outside diameter of a contact region between the one end face of the sleeve and the thrust bearing 4 is smaller than an outside diameter of the sleeve, and an outside diameter of a contact region which is formed when the other end face of the sleeve 23 contacts with the retaining part, is smaller than the outside diameter of the sleeve. |
