PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging type vacuum cleaner where an illuminator is disposed while having functions as a handy vacuum cleaner, which is configured to select an illumination method matching the purpose of use according to the purpose of use of illumination.SOLUTION: The illuminator 40 includes two types of illumination functions of a light-emitting diode illumination function (LED illumination part 41) of illuminating using an LED 45 and a fluorescent lamp illumination function (fluorescent lamp illumination part 51) of illuminating using a fluorescent lamp 55, wherein the purposes of illumination function are different from each other. Therefore, it is possible to perform spot illumination like an ordinary like using the LED illumination part 41 and to widely illuminate the nearby surrounding using the fluorescent lamp illumination part 51. A controller 65 controls on/off operation by selecting one of a blower 22, the LED 45, and the fluorescent lamp 55 according to operation input from a single switch 66, a switching switch 67, or an operation trigger 24. |
