PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer-electrolyte membrane laminated body unit capable of easily transporting, and a membrane-electrode assembly unit.SOLUTION: The membrane-electrode assembly unit includes a membrane-electrode assembly 10 having an ion conductive polymer electrolyte membrane 2, catalyst layers 3 arranged on both surfaces of the ion conductive polymer electrolyte membrane 2, and a conductive porous base material 4 arranged on each catalyst layer 3, an absorptive member 5 arranged so as to cone in contact with both surfaces of the membrane-electrode assembly 10, and a storage member 6 for storing the membrane-electrode assembly 10 in which both surfaces are covered with the absorptive member 5.
