PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip and a method for manufacturing the same, allowing prevention of falling of a clip, while improving manufacturing workability, regarding the weather strip made of rubber and including the clip.SOLUTION: This door weather strip 5 includes a weather strip body 7 composed of sponge EPDM and attached to a peripheral edge part of a door 4, and the clip 8 composed of thermoplastic resin to mount the weather strip body 7 on the door 4. The weather strip body 7 includes a mounting base part 11 mounted with the clip 8 and a main sealing part 12 extending from the mounting base part 11. The mounting base part 11 is fixed with a resin sheet 9 compatible with both of the weather strip body 7 and the clip 8 by being interposed between the mounting base part 11 and the clip 8. The mounting base part 11 and the resin sheet 9 are thermally welded, and the resin sheet 9 and the clip 8 are thermally welded. |
