PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve unit for a vacuum double pipe, suppressing deterioration of thermal insulation property and also reducing the time and labor required to evacuate the vacuum double pipe.SOLUTION: This valve unit 70A is used for the vacuum double pipes having outer pipes for covering inner pipes and evacuating portions between the inner pipes and the outer pipes, and controls a Galden (R) (a heating medium) circulating in the inner pipes. The valve unit 70A includes: first fluid passages connected to the inner pipes and allowing circulation of fluid led to flow into from the inner pipes; valves 76H, 76C having valve bodies 77 and valve elements 78 and controlling the Galden circulating in the first fluid passages; and a valve case 81 covering the first fluid passages and valve bodies 77 and also connected to the outer pipes. In an evacuation passage 75 formed by a space between the first fluid passage and valves 76H, 76C, and the valve case 81, spaces between the inner pipes and outer pipes of the vacuum double pipes are allowed to communicate with each other, and also midway parts between the vacuum double pipes are tightly closed. |
