PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steamer capable of suppressing a reduction in capacity and improving the cooking performance by discharging steam without inhibition by water drops.SOLUTION: The steamer 1 includes a steamer lower container 2; a steamer upper container 4 having a plurality of steam passing holes in the bottom, the upper container being stacked and placed on an upper portion of the lower container 2; and a steamer upper container lid to be placed on the upper container 4. The upper container 4 has projections 15 provided on the side wall inner surface thereof, the projections extending in a vertical line shape and protruding from the side wall inner surface, and the periphery of the lid is held by the upper surfaces of the projections. Therefore, the reduction in capacity of the steamer can be suppressed. Further, since water drops adhering to the lid run down to the bottom of the steamer along the side wall inner surface of the steamer when they fall from the periphery of the lid, the discharge of steam is not inhibited by the water drops, and the cooking performance and convenience can be improved. |
