PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element which is effectively manufactured by making a shape of a molded article into an array in which a plurality of optical element parts are two-dimensionally arranged when the optical elements are obtained by multi-cavity molding in case of molding, and cutting the space between the respective optical element parts of the molded article to obtain a product, and to provide a molded article and a method for manufacturing the optical element.SOLUTION: The optical elements are obtained by cutting off a plurality of the optical element parts 14 from the injection molded-article 30 of a transparent thermosetting resin. A plurality of the optical element parts 14 are lengthwise laterally arranged in the molded article 30. The molded article 30 is injection-molded in such a shape that the lengthwise laterally arranged optical element parts 14 are integrally connected to each other. The optical elements are obtained by cutting the space between the optical element parts 14 of the molded article 30 and separating them from each other into the respective optical element parts 14.
