PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body for a vacuum cleaner, wherein push/pull operation is made easy and handleability is excellent.SOLUTION: The suction port body 11 includes a suction head 12, a rotary cleaning body 23, driving wheels 27, and a driving device 33. The suction head 12 has a suction chamber 19 and a suction opening facing the chamber and opposite to a cleaned surface. A lower part of the rotary cleaning body 23 is exposed to the suction opening and the rotary cleaning body 23 is rotatably stored in a suction chamber 19. The driving wheels 27 are rotatably supported by the suction head 12 independently of the rotary cleaning body 23. The driving wheels 27 are rotationally driven in a state where they are in contact with the cleaned surface. The driving device 33 is incorporated by the suction head 12 and rotationally drives the rotary cleaning body 23 and rotationally drives the driving wheels 27 at higher speed than that of the rotary cleaning body 23. |
