PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device capable of obtaining an appropriate image in accordance with a photographing condition by using an imaging element for receiving light in a wide band from visible light to infrared light.SOLUTION: When an object such as, for instance, a halogen lamp is included in a photographing screen, a light source detection part 104e of an image processing section 104 outputs B/A as an evaluation value to a control section 105 when a value of an image component W and that of an image component IR are, for instance, denoted by A and B, respectively. Therefore, when much infrared light enters a pixel (particular pixel) where such the evaluation value exceeds 0.5, the control section 105 sets a bias voltage B to be applied high, and can relatively enhance the sensitivity to infrared light of the particular pixel. When much visible light enters each pixel (pixel other than the particular pixel) where the evaluation value is set ≤0.5, the control section 105 sets the bias voltage B to be applied low, and can relatively lower the sensitivity to infrared light of the pixels other than the particular pixel. |
