PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform weighting adjustment (variation of intensity) to parallax amounts which are generated in the foreground and the background in accordance with the parallax amounts, and to display a parallax image with more preferable stereoscopic vision particularly on stereoscopic display print.SOLUTION: A plurality of viewpoint images in which the same subject is photographed from a plurality of viewpoints are acquired, and the parallax amounts at a plurality of feature points are acquired from coordinate values of the respectively corresponding feature points of the respective viewpoint images. A conversion table (table for printing) for adjusting the parallax amounts different in weighting corresponding to the parallax amounts converts the parallax amounts so that the absolute value of the maximum value of the parallax amount in a depth direction may be larger than the absolute value of the maximum value of the parallax amount in a protruding direction among the parallax amounts acquired from the respective viewpoint images.
