<p>Disclosed is an image capture system that determines from a data signal outputted from an image sensor whether the data signal is itself a video image signal, without disposing an additional signal line between the image sensor and a DSP. The image capture system comprises an image sensor (1), further comprising a pixel array (101), a coding generator unit (102), and a transmission interface (103); and a semiconductor integrated circuit (102), which processes an external signal that is outputted from the image sensor (101). The semiconductor integrated circuit (2) further comprises a receiver interface (201) that receives the external signal that is outputted from the image sensor (1); a signal delay unit (202) that delays the received external signal and outputs a first signal; an error correction unit (206) that carries out error correction of a coding sequence of the first signal; and an image signal determination unit (211) that determines whether the external signal is an image signal, on the basis of the result of the process of the error correction unit (206).</p> |
