<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of surely fixing an element to a supporting body and electrically connecting the semiconductor side of the element to the conductor layer side at a low resistance with high reliability, in a photovoltaic conversion device comprising a globular solar cell of such system as housing a unit of globular photovoltaic conversion element in recesses of the supporting body bearing multiple recesses. <P>SOLUTION: Using a conductive adhesive applied in advance on the bottom of the recess of the supporting body which acts as a second conductor layer as well, the element consisting of a globular first semiconductor and a second semiconductor layer covering its surface is fixed to the bottom of the recess while electrically connected to the second semiconductor layer. Then, an electrode is formed on the first semiconductor exposed from the element at such part that faces the rear surface side of the supporting body. A hole is formed in an electric insulating layer jointed to the rear surface of the supporting body, to form a first conductor layer which connects the electrodes of the elements together with it as a conductive path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
