<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small fuel cell suitable for a power source of portable electronic device like portable telephone, note book sized computer, or PDA. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell A is a cartridge structure 10 of which, a fuel storage tank is exchangeable. The cartridge structure 10 comprises a fuel container 12 storing the fuel, a fuel flow-out part 13, and a following body 14 moving together with the consumption of the fuel, and the fuel in the cartridge structure is visible.
