摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a vehicular charger capable of increasing an average charging current as large as possible, decreasing charging loss significantly, and furthermore maintaining charging efficiency at high level. SOLUTION: This control method is used for a vehicular charger. In a vehicle including a vehicular battery 11, an inverter 12, and a drive motor 13, the vehicular battery is charged with a charger, which includes an external power source 16, the drive motor, and the inverter and uses the coils of the drive motor as a booster by connecting the positive side of the external power source to the neutral point of the drive motor. At least one coil of the drive motor is selected and used as a charging inductor in accordance with the inductance of each phase coil which fluctuates depending on the position of a rotor to the stator of the drive motor which has stopped.
