The magazine (1) has lancets (7) coupled with an actuator mechanism in a lancet cartridge, where the actuator mechanism comprises a toughened actuator element e.g. actuator arm (8), for each lancet. The actuator mechanism releases energy for acceleration of the lancet that is coupled with the element for a piercing movement during triggering of the actuator mechanism. The actuator arm migrates from a stretched position into bend position in a feed back phase that adjacent to the feed phase, where the lancets are retrieved in the feed phase. An independent claim is also included for a piercing system. |
