The cable has a conductor extending longitudinally in an outer sheath. A reinforcement extends longitudinally in the outer sheath, and is arranged against an inner surface of the outer sheath. The reinforcement is formed from glass fiber filaments that are coated with polymer resin i.e. polyurethane resin. The reinforcement is inserted between the conductor and the outer sheath. The reinforcement slides freely in the outer sheath.
