METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ADDRESSING CORE NETWORK NODE IN HANDOVER PROCESS

A method and a device, for addressing a core network node in a handover process, are applied to a user terminal in the handover process from a source node to a target Relay Node (RN). The method includes that: a base station, which the target RN belongs to, transmits or forwards a handover request message to the target RN, and establishes correspondence relations between S1 link identifiers of the user terminal and core network node identifiers; after receiving a path switch request message transmitted by the target node, the base station determines, according to a source S1 link identifier carried by the path switch request message and the correspondence relations established by the base station, a core network node identifier corresponding to the source S1 link identifier, and forwards the path switch request message to the core network node corresponding to the core network node identifier. The present invention can solve the problem that the base station can not address the core network node correctly during the handover in the network architecture having the RN.
