The cage (1) has rolling elements (6) supported between outer and inner rings (4, 5). Side rings (8, 9) consisting of metallic materials i.e. steel, are spaced from each other in an axial direction. The side rings are connected with each other by bars (10) that are spaced from each other in a circumferential direction so that recesses are formed for receiving the rolling elements. The bars consist of soft metallic materials in relation to the side rings. The bars are provided with a coating based on graphite or molybdenum disulfide.
