PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless tag system capable of reducing the omission of wireless tags andeffectively reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A wireless tag reader 10 reads a wireless tag 50, by designating a second flag (a flag reset by turning off a carrier for a second time period) immediately after carrier-on; thereafter reads the wireless tag 50, by designating a first flag (a flag reset by turning off for a first time period shorter than the second time period); recognizes the unique ID of the wireless tag 50 existing in a readable area, based on the both reading results; and further, suspends the output of the carrier for a period which is longer than the first time period but shorter than the second time period, after the wireless tag 50 designating the first flag is read. |
