PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer capable of using a pulse wave gate even if a measurer is a person with weak pulses, setting a gate section from signals of K-sound detecting air bags for measuring the K-sound, and suppressing the cost by eliminating the need for dedicated measuring environment for using the pulse wave gate.SOLUTION: An arm band includes: an ischemic air bag that can pressurize an upper arm by feeding air thereto; a plurality of K-sound detecting air bags that are disposed inside the ischemic air bag and have the air volume smaller than the air volume of the ischemic air bag; and a K-sound sensor that acquires a signal by detecting fluctuations in the air inside the K-sound detecting air bags, generated when the blood flow flows again by depressurization after the ischemic air bag has pressurized the upper arm T to stop the blood flow. This electronic sphygmomanometer separates the signal DS1 from the K-sound sensor into a low frequency component signal DS2 and a high frequency component signal DS3, opens the gate section GT with a peak point PP of the low frequency component signal DS2 defined as the center, and extracts the high frequency component signal DS3 inside the gate section GT. |
