PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact charging system which surely holds charging efficiency from a primary coil to a secondary coil at the highest level.SOLUTION: The noncontact charging system includes a power transmitter 6 which has the primary coil 5 for supplying power by electromagnetic induction, a power receiving apparatus 32 which has the secondary coil 31 that is electromagnetically coupled to the power transmitter 6 to receive power, a drive device 7 which moves the primary coil 5, a range specification device 8 which specifies the moving range of the primary coil 5, and a controller 34 which computes charging efficiency from the primary coil 5 to the secondary coil 31 in the range specified by the range specification device 8 and judges the optimum position where this calculation result becomes the maximum. The drive device 7 moves the primary coil 5 to the optimum position based on a judgment result by the controller 34. |
