PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of wipe-cleaning of a floor surface without using a sheet or the like for wipe-cleaning.SOLUTION: A suction device for the vacuum cleaner includes: a Peltier element unit; an immersion unit for storing and immersing moisture in the air condensed by a cooling plate of the Peltier element unit; and a water retaining body contacting to the floor surface, where the moisture is supplied from the immersion unit.
