PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer composite machine which is made compact and thin, and also has improved rigidity of the housing of the composite machine and further does not impair jamming processability of a recording area.SOLUTION: The ink jet printer composite machine 10 includes: an image recording part 36 for recording an image on recording paper in a recording area 364; a paper discharge tray 405 for discharging recording paper; a scanner 16 for reading an image of an original on an original platen glass 50; a housing 18; a paper feeding and discharging opening 22 formed at the front 20 of housing so that recording paper discharged to the paper discharge tray 405 can be taken out; a route opening 26 formed on the top 23 of the housing 18 so as to face the recording area 364; and a route cover 30 that can open or close the route opening 26, wherein the original platen glass 50 is fixed while being bridged over to both side walls 21 of the housing 18 so as not to overlap at least a portion of the recording area 364 in a vertical direction. |
