PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone call recording system which does not make a notification partner listen to unnecessary voice input from a microphone or the like in such a case that a telephone call partner is made to listen to the recording contents during a telephone call, and to provide a method for controlling the telephone call recording system.SOLUTION: When recording is performed by connecting an adapter 2 for telephone call recording with an interface function with a recorder (PC) 3 to a key telephone 1 and connecting the recorder 3 to the adapter 2 for telephone call recording, the adapter 2 for telephone call recording has a sound detection part 21 which detects presence/absence of transmitted sound from the recorder 3, and performs control so as to turn a sound collection microphone 14 of the key telephone 1 off when the transmitted sound is detected by the sound detection part 21, and so as to turn the sound collection microphone 14 on when the transmitted sound is not detected. |
