PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier for reducing an AM-PM conversion amount, and to provide a semiconductor integrated circuit including the power amplifier.SOLUTION: The power amplifier 10 includes: an envelope detector 11 for detecting an envelope component of an input signal IN; a limiter 12 including a PMOS (Positive channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor) transistor for detecting a phase component of the input signal IN having predetermined secondary distortion to the input signal IN, and an NMOS (Negative channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor) transistor for detecting a phase component of the input signal IN having the same secondary distortion as that of the phase component detected by the PMOS; and a coupler 14 for coupling an envelope component detected by the envelope detector 11 to a phase component detected by the PMOS transistor or the NMOS transistor to generate an output signal. |
