PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method in which blurring of an image can be reduced and an image excellent in abrasion resistance can be obtained when recording with an aqueous ink composition on a non-ink-absorbing recording medium, particularly a recording medium made of polyvinyl chloride.SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording method including steps of ejecting liquid drops of the aqueous ink composition on the non-ink-absorbing recording medium heated at 40 to 60°C and drying the aqueous ink composition ejected on the recording medium, recording is performed using the aqueous ink composition at least containing: a water-insoluble coloring agent; water-insoluble thermoplastic resin particles; a first solvent composed of at least one selected from 2-pyrrolidone, 1,3-dimethyl-imidazolidinone, and N,N'-dimethylpropylene urea; a second solvent composed of at least one selected from 1,2-hexanediol and 1,2-pentanediol; glycol diethers; and water. |
