PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotation angle sensor, effectively performing a laser welding process even without applying a force in an axial direction or forming an enlarged diameter part.SOLUTION: A resin collar 5 is attached to a primary shaped body 11, and an annular space S opened to the side of another end 32 in an axial direction, is formed between an inner circumferential surface of the resin collar 5 and an outer peripheral surface of a body 4 (collar attaching process); then the primary shaped body 11 is contained in a molding die 6 together with the resin collar 5, a part of the primary shaped body 11 is sealed with a secondary molding resin 7 and the annular space S is filled with the secondary molding resin 7 (secondary shaping process); and then a secondary shaped body 12 is taken out from the molding die 6, and the secondary molding resin 7 with which the inside of an opening side end 50 is filled, and the opening side end 50, are welded at their boundary 16 by irradiating the opening side end 50 of the resin collar 5 with laser L from outside (laser welding process). |
