PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that prevents a contact from falling off without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: The connector has the contact 25, which is arranged along an inner periphery of a metallic cylindrical body 22 having an opening edge formed on one end side in the axial direction, and is elastically expandable in the radial direction, so as to receive a pin-like terminal 70 of the counterpart connector. In the contact 25 made of metal plate in a nearly cylindrical shape, grooves 25A extending in the direction having an axial direction component between both ends in the axial direction are penetrated and formed in the radial direction at a plurality of circumferential positions, both ends and an intermediate part have different inner diameters, respectively, and elastic contact with a terminal of the counterpart connector is made at the minimum diameter part. The cylindrical body 22 has a thin wall 22A having the opening edge of which at least a part is thinner than the other part. The thin wall is bent and worked inward of its radius at least at a part in the circumferential direction, and a locking part 22A' lockable against the cylindrical contact in the axial direction is formed. |
