PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for surface-enhanced Raman scattering studies.SOLUTION: The substrate for surface-enhanced Raman scattering studies comprises a semiconductor surface with whiskers, coated with metal selected from the group consisting of silver, gold, platinum, copper and/or alloys thereof, where the semiconductor is a gallium-containing nitride, and essentially each whisker contains a linear defect inside. The whiskers are connected to each other through terminals distant from the semiconductor surface, forming conical bunches. The film thickness of the coating metal ranges from 50 nm to 150 nm, preferably from 70 nm to 80 nm. |
