PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which suppresses the inter-layer mixture, and has a favorable coloring sensitivity, solvent barrier property and sticking suitability in the thermal recording material in which a thermal recording layer and a protective layer are substantially simultaneously laminated by curtain-coating process after installing an under coat layer containing a pigment and a binder on a supporting body.SOLUTION: After installing the under coat layer containing the pigment, the binder, a boric acid or tincal on the supporting body, a plurality of coating liquids constituting the thermal recording layer and the protective layer are substantially simultaneously curtain-coated to form the thermal recording material. The thermal recording material contains polyvinyl alcohols as the binder in the thermal recording layer. |
