A washer/extractor (10) having a one-piece plastic water hose connecting fitting (11) having a base plate (20), a tubular hose connection portion (22) that defines a passageway (25) communicating between a hose (18) connected to the 5 fitting (11) and an opening (21) in the wall to which the fitting is mounted, and a pair of clamping members (30) disposed in parallel relation to a rear side of base plate. The wash tub opening (21) has a key hole configuration (40) which enables the arms (31) of the fitting (11) to be positioned into the opening in a first position of the base and upon rotation of the base plate (20) to a second position locates the 10 clamping arms (31) behind mounting portions (41) of the wall for securement by respective fasteners (48) extending through the base plate, wall mounting portions, and clamping arms.
