PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry apparatus for changing the output characteristic of a motor in response to various rotation loads, and also obtaining a larger torque.SOLUTION: A washing machine used also as dehydrator includes a transmission mechanism for performing switching between a first output state to transmit the rotation of the motor to the rotation target load by deceleration and a second output state to directly transmit the rotation of the motor to the rotation target load without performing deceleration. Besides, the motor changes the amount of magnetization in permanent magnets held in a rotor by generating an excitation current in stator coils. |
