PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood keeping device that can improve a flexibility of an arrangement layout of peripheral equipments of a hood and keep the hood at any of a plurality of opening positions.SOLUTION: A hood keeping device 10 keeps an openable-type hood 61 in an opening condition, the hood 61 being pivotally supported by a vehicle body of a traveling machine. The hood keeping device includes a stay 7 of which a base end part 71 side is pivotally supported by the hood 61 and a stay supporting member 8 provided to the vehicle body and supporting a tip end part side of the stay 7. The stay supporting member 8 includes a shaft 83 extending in parallel with a supporting shaft of the hood 61. The stay 7 includes a guide groove 72 formed to extend toward the base end part 71 and for guiding the shaft 83 of the stay supporting member 8 and a plurality of hook grooves 73, 74 and 75 formed to continue to the guide groove 72 at one side of the guide groove 72 and for being hooked by the shaft 83 of the stay supporting member 8. |
