METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION, INFORMATION SHARING, AUTHENTICATION AND REACH PRESENCE MANAGEMENT.

A method and system for generation and management of unique identifiers for information sharing, authentication and reach-presence management purposes. A database entry indexed by the unique identifier is created for storing the information of the user. The user can add, update, or remove any information using its identifier and decide which piece of information it wishes to disclose publicly. The unique identifier can then be used by other entities to access current information regarding the user`s identity, contact information, authentication credentials, location and availability. Upon request by a third entity for communication with the user and holder of the unique identifier, the system detects the user`s preferred means of communication and their operational status and establishes communication accordingly. Upon request for the user`s location, availability and preferred means of communication the system detects and disposes of the location based on heterogeneous means of localization technologies, availability status and user`s preferred means of communication.
