The vacuum cleaner has a multi-part housing comprising a housing lower part and a covering frame. The lower part and the frame comprise a lower part-side wall and a covering frame-side wall, respectively. A cable drum (10) accommodates a connection cable, and fins (111-116) are arranged laterally at the cable drum, where the fins lie at the side walls. The cable drum is arranged in a rear area of the housing laterally adjacent to an area for accommodating an exhaust fan. The fins extend from a side wall of the cable drum to a perpendicular direction.
