PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sterilizing device which can stably obtain high sterilization efficiency for a long time of period regardless of the amount of water to be treated and without detecting the water level of the water to be treated by a water level sensor or the like, and an air conditioner, a hand dryer, and a humidifier using the water sterilizing device. SOLUTION: The water sterilizing device includes at least one electrode pair consisting of a pair of electrode portions in a sterilization container storing water. A pair of the electrode portions forming the electrode pair are disposed so as to be immersed in the water at the same time, and a high-voltage pulse is applied across the electrode portions to generate electric discharge across the electrode portions.
