FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: material used consists of a base, a titanium oxide based coating layer on which a thin hydrophilic layer is deposited, which forms at least one part of the outer surface of the said material and not containing titanium oxide. The hydrophilic layer forms a non-dense aquatic layer which is less dense than water in liquid state, and having high density of hydroxyl groups on its surface. The titanium oxide based coating is amorphous. Content of titanium oxide on the outer surface is not equal to zero and content of silicon oxide on the outer surface is higher than that at the centre of the layer. ^ EFFECT: countering settling of inorganic contaminants on the surface in stagnant water. ^ 26 cl, 3 tbl |
