<p>Disclosed is a pulse wave velocity measurement device comprising a pulse wave detection unit (110) which detects pulse waves in a human body, a pulse wave velocity calculation unit (120) which calculates pulse wave velocity based on the pulse waves detected by the pulse wave detection unit (110), and a pulse wave velocity adjustment unit (130) which adjusts the pulse wave velocity calculated by the pulse wave velocity calculation unit (120) by removing the component added thereto by the influence of hydrostatic pressure arising from the position of the human body. Thus, the pulse wave velocity measurement device can measure pulse wave velocity accurately without being influenced by hydrostatic pressure arising from position.</p> |
