PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device that suppresses warpage of the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A bonding process of bonding a long-sized polarizing film on a liquid crystal panel while cutting it, is subjected to both surfaces of the liquid crystal panel 2. A conveying speed of the liquid crystal panel 2 in at least one of bonding processes is made faster than that of the polarizing film. Consequently, the polarizing film bonded on the liquid crystal panel 2 can be tensed so as to correct individual characteristics (what is called peculiarities of a manufacturing apparatus) of the manufacturing apparatus 10 used to perform the bonding processes, so bending (warpage) of the liquid crystal panel 2 can be suppressed. Namely, the bending of the liquid crystal display device 1 to be manufactured is suppressed to increase the productivity and yield of a final product (to decrease the fraction defective). |
