PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool that, for workpieces that are held by either a front main shaft or a rear main shaft, can machine the free end thereof which has been guided by a single guide bush, and can minimize increases in the number of control shafts with a simple and compact structure.SOLUTION: The guide bush 160 having the same axis as the front main shaft 112 and the rear main shaft 122 positioned facing each other and having the same axis, is positioned between the front main shaft 112 and the rear main shaft 122, can guide on both end sides of a workpiece W, can allow the workpiece held by either the front main shaft 112 or the rear main shaft 122 to be inserted thereinto, and can move in the axial direction. |
