PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dynamic range enlarged image in which noise amplification during gradation conversion is suppressed.SOLUTION: An identical exposure and image-capturing setting unit has: a gradation conversion curve calculation section 14 for calculating a gradation conversion curve for a dynamic range enlarged image generated by combining a plurality of sheets of differently exposed and captured images; an amplification factor calculation section 15 for calculating a contrast amplification factor from the gradation conversion curve; a luminance range selection section 16 for selecting a specific luminance range in the dynamic range enlarged image based on the contrast amplification factor; and an identical exposure and image-capturing a time number calculation section 19 for calculating the number of times of identical exposure and image-capturing based on an exposure condition corresponding to the luminance range among exposure conditions during different exposure and image-capturing and based on the luminance range and the contrast amplification factor. Identical exposure and image capturing performed under the condition set by the identical exposure and image-capturing setting unit 9, an image combining unit 5 combines the dynamic range enlarged image and a plurality of sheets of identically exposed and captured images, and a gradation converting unit 7 performs gradation conversion for the obtained combination image. |
