<p>The present invention regards a dampener to augment the mounting of a lamp (10, 10a, 10b) in a socket (80, 82) by resisting displacement of the lamp (10, 10a, 10b) relative to the socket (80, 82), the dampener (40, 50, 60, 70, 90, 100, 200) is made from a material able to absorb vibrations and to reduce or prevent vibrations in the lamp (10, 10a, 10b).
