PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronic acid-production promotor which is usable safely and conveniently and promotes the hyaluronic acid-production ability in human beings to thereby increase hyaluronic acid amount.SOLUTION: This hyaluronic acid-production promotor comprises a cactus fruit juice obtained from fruits of a plant belonging to the genus Opuntia. The genus Opuntia suitably used includes Opuntia ficus-indica, Opuntia engelmannii, and Opuntia dillenii. This hyaluronic acid-production promotor is used suitably as a skin external preparation, foods and drinks, an oral preparation, etc. and is applicable effectively for the antiaging (skin-stretching and skin-spring maintenance) of skins of human beings, moisturizing, wetting, the prophylaxis and treatment for arthritis, and the treatment of scald at the initial period. |
