PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic photoelectric conversion element that improves an SN ratio.SOLUTION: There is provided the method of manufacturing the organic photoelectric conversion element 10 which includes an electrode 2, an electrode 5 formed above the electrode 2, a photoelectric conversion layer 4 formed between the electrode 2 and electrode 5 and including an organic material, and a sealing layer 6 sealing the electrode 2, electrode 5 and photoelectric conversion layer 4. The photoelectric conversion layer 4 is composed of a mixed layer of a fullerene or fullerene derivative and a p-type organic semiconductor. The method includes a first step of forming the electrode 2 on a substrate 1, a second step of forming the photoelectric conversion layer 4 on the electrode 2, a third step of forming the electrode 5 on the photoelectric conversion layer 4, a fourth step of forming the sealing layer 6 on the electrode 5, and a fifth step of providing a period when nothing is added to the structure of the organic photoelectric conversion element in the middle of fabrication for 30 minutes or longer between respective steps between the second step and fourth step. |
