PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and quickly estimating a sugar alcohol which is a few in degree of decomposition of a pharmaceutical compound due to a Maillard reaction when being blended with the pharmaceutical compound having an amine structure of a plurality of sugar alcohols.SOLUTION: A reducing terminal amount contained in the plurality of sugar alcohols is quantitatively measured by the bicinchoninic acid method (the BCA method), so that the degree of decomposition of the pharmaceutical compound when using the sugar alcohol as a compounding agent, is estimated and the optimum sugar alcohol is selected. |
