PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor that can improve volume efficiency, attenuate refrigerant gas pulsation component of a low frequency region, suppress piping vibrations of a refrigerator and reduce noises by decreasing intake loss due to flow path resistance of the refrigerant gas in an intake passage.SOLUTION: A first tail tube 153 and a second tail tube 155 for introducing the refrigerant gas 105 into a muffler body 157 are provided in an intake muffler 151. A first inlet port 167 of the first tail tube 153 is connected with an opening section 106 of an intake tube 107 that is disposed in a hermetic container 101 via a connector 165, and the second tail tube 155 is internally communicated with the hermetic container 101 to reduce the intake loss in the intake passage, improve the volume efficiency, release the refrigerant gas pulsation component of the low frequency region from the second tail tube 155 into the hermetic container 101, and to attenuate the refrigerant gas pulsation component, thereby suppressing the piping vibrations of the refrigerator and lowering noises. |
