PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and easily eliminate the erroneous operation of a latch due to the sliding and impact of a slider.SOLUTION: This slide assist device includes a drawn-in unit 6 comprising a case 1 attached to one of a body 7 and a mobile body, a slider 2 slidably disposed in the case, the latch 4 which is supported by the slider and changed over between a standby position where the latch is locked to the corresponding part of the case and a drawn-in position where the latch is unlocked, and a pressing means 3; and a drive member 8 which is attached to the other of the body and the mobile body and which changes over the latch 4 from the standby position to the drawn-in position and vice versa. When the latch is changed over from the standby position to the drawn-in position, the mobile body is allowed to move from the body side first position to the second position through the drive member using the pressing force accumulated in the pressing means. The latch 4 comprises a shaft part 43 with a flat surface, and is installed in the slider. The shaft part is rotatably fitted to a shaft hole 20a with a position regulatory surface 20b that corresponds to the flat surface. When the latch is changed over to the standby position, the flat surface and the position regulatory surface face each other. |
