PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel dye-sensitized solar cell of high photoelectric conversion efficiency which has low resistance loss and does not discourage formation of necking between metal oxide fine particles, such as titanium oxide.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized solar cell 1 includes a conductive base material 10, a porous semiconductor layer 20 which is arranged on the conductive base material 10 and comprises metal oxide fine particles-bearing sensitizing dye, a counter electrode 40 arranged to face the porous semiconductor layer 20, and an electrolytic layer 30 which is arranged between the conductive base material 10 and the counter electrode 40 and contains a redox pair. It is characterized in that a part of the surface of metal oxide fine particle is covered with a conductive material. |
