PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of a video signal outputted on a monitor of a master unit by calculating a light source position of sunlight or the like that is varying even under a backlight state, for a video signal of a subject imaged by a camera of a slave unit, and correcting an optical harmful factor such as ghost, flare, halation or the like generated in the video signal.SOLUTION: For a video signal of a subject imaged by a camera 10 of a slave unit 1a, a correction pattern-determining circuit 242 constituting a correction controller 24 of a master unit 2a calculates an optimal correction pattern based on a position of a light source 3 defined by luminance information for each pixel and a variation of the luminance information. Therefore, the correction pattern discriminated by the correction pattern-determining circuit 242 is read from a correction pattern storage unit 23 and the video signal is corrected by a correction processor 22. |
